the map is from 2008! where is the update?

These maps are absolutly great to discover citys all around the world.

Nice map but only has downtown on the free version and no search option

it just downloads for a few seconds and then starts processing something for about 4-5 minutes and then crashes

We found this really useful on our visit to San Francisco. Its basically a transit map on your phone. Its not fancy, but everything that it does works offline, so there was no need for us to use our Data. Were from Canada, so data would have cost us an arm and a leg.

Thats about it. No way to get directions, as far as I can see. And the Back button doesnt do anything.

San Francisco map is out of date. Have discovered several route changes. This maps this worse than useless - it is wrong. You can expect to take a bus somewhere only to find out - the hard way - it does not go there. The ONE thing a route map has to be is accurate. This one is not. The fact that this company continues to offer an out of date map speaks volumes.

Absolutely enough to get to the right places in Frisco, I mean, to find all that complicated public transport things... Simply to use, recommended!

Nothing but a big picture. Not even current location. Map is quite outdated and doesnt match actual routes - two bad discoveries for a day of use.

This app represents a severe downgrade of the previous version. Someone saw an opportunity to screw up a good thing, and they have been very successful. Congratulations! There is now no map of SFO buses. A ton of fixed rail maps, but not buses. The previous version was quite good. Gave route numbers and times of service. Now? None of the above. What could you hope to gain? Even the paid version is not a map, but a stick figure drawing. Not enough reviews to rate this? What a shock. No one finds it useful....

Its alot better than a Thomas Guide or any store bought maps. Plus we save a few trees. :2up:

Wont work for me - processes 50% then quits - no error message. Got wifi.

This app might be worth more than 1 star, bit since it wont even load... Its a waste of time!

took 10 minutes to get only 50% of the file processed and then proceeded to crash. Tired 3 times; crashed 3 times.

App needs more attention from developer. App would either freeze or not load before it crashes on iPhone 3G. After multiple attempts to run it, i finally had to remove it. It has good potential if it works.

Im grateful that this app is free because all Ive waisted is time. This app never completes the "processing" step. Ive made it as far as 83% before it crashes. Apple should pull the app from the App Store until it is fixed. Thats what I wrote for the previous version. I just downloaded the new 4.0 release, and it still wont make it through the processing stage.

Serious problem. Crashes every time. Cannot use and has been deleted from my iPhone.

Very handy having a map independent from being connected to the Internet. a nice blend of old school and new school Id say. not a fan of the new on screen adds though, but still totally worth the free

I noticed that at least one of the routes is not accurate. I would rather use maps.
